About The IUCA Project

The Irish-Uyghur Community is dedicated to preserving and celebrating Uyghur language, culture, and identity here in Ireland. We offer a safe and inclusive space for learning, cultural expression, and meaningful exchange with the wider Irish society — building bridges of friendship, understanding, and solidarity.

While we are non-political non-religious, and open to all, we cannot stay silent about the persecution of Uyghurs in China. We stand to give voice to those who are silenced, raise awareness of ongoing human rights abuses, and call for support from the Irish public and government to help protect a people — and a culture — at risk of disappearing.
