IUCA Leads Protest in Dublin Urging Ireland to Defend Uyghur Rights

During the visit of China’s Foreign Minister to Dublin, IUCA led a peaceful protest demanding Ireland take a stand for Uyghur human rights. Our call to action urged Irish leaders to prioritize justice over economic ties and condemn the ongoing genocide and forced labour. This public demonstration reinforced our mission to amplify Uyghur voices in Ireland.

Standing for Uyghur Justice: IUCA Hosts Film Screening and Human Rights Panel

The IUCA co-hosted the screening of All Static & Noise at the Irish Film Institute, a powerful documentary exposing the Uyghur genocide. The event featured a panel with leading voices from Amnesty International, GLAN, and our director Nuria Zyden. Together, they discussed human rights, exile, and transnational repression. This initiative brought critical awareness to Ireland and amplified Uyghur voices.
